ALCOM builds a wide array of aluminum trailers for hauling off-road vehicles like UTVs and ATVs. Choose an open aluminum ATV or UTV trailer for lighter hauling and simple, utilitarian versatility for moving lawn mowers and other landscaping gear once vacation is over. An open aluminum trailer is a year-round investment. Many of ALCOM's brands have ATV- and UTV-specific open aluminum trailer models, including the 83" and 88" deck models. Each model has its own advantages and special features, including rails, ramps, tie-downs and decking options to optimize your open aluminum trailer hauling experience. Triton Trailers has a fully customizable ATV Series open aluminum trailer and another fully customizable option, the FIT Series, which can be built in almost any size to suit your off-road vehicles.
Choose a standard model or the Pinnacle Series decked-out UTV haulers. Each enclosed side-by-side trailer has smooth, bonded, screwless side panels that won't rust; all-welded aluminum construction; standard water-resistant decking and a wide array of optional upgrades available; a spring-assisted rear ramp door for easy loading and unloading of your ATVs, side by sides, and any other gear you bring along for the journey.
Do you already have an ALCOM aluminum car hauler or utility trailer? Are you thinking about getting one because that's the type you need most? Did you have your heart and budget set on an ALCOM XLT Series trailer, the easiest enclosed aluminum trailers to own? Don't stress. You can also load ATVs and side by sides onto many of ALCOM's other models, including our open aluminum car haulers and some of our heavy-duty open aluminum utility trailers. Put them in a motorcycle trailer, an enclosed car hauler, or a tandem axle cargo trailer. Haul your ATVs in any ALCOM aluminum trailer that has the payload and dimensions to handle your machines!
We’re exploring the eastern edges of the USA today, from the north woods of New England to the mud hollows of Florida. Remember to check the local and federal laws that apply to any trail systems and parks you visit, whether you’re enjoying regional trail networks like Ride the Wilds in New Hampshire or the Hatfield & McCoy Trails Heaven system in West Virginia–or taking a summer road trip that includes a national park excursion and off-roading.
Review local regulations, advisories, permit and registration requirements, gear requirements, passes needed to access trail systems, and so forth. You know -- the paperwork! These details may not be as exciting as exploring a new trail, but understanding them and complying is a critical part of having a good time in every new place you roam.
In New England, some of our neighboring states are more ATV-friendly than others and you need to plan accordingly. For example, in Rhode Island, there are no public ATV trails, and riding can only be done with permission from private property owners -- so we’d recommend trying New Hampshire or Maine instead, where hundreds of miles of trails spread out across mountains, fields, and forests.
In Maine, head for Jackman, near the Canadian border, to find extensive off-roading, off-grid camping, and other outdoor adventures. Hundreds of miles of trails are available and you can find accommodations and aluminum trailer parking in the area.
In New Hampshire’s North Country, the extensive Ride the Wilds trail network offers more than 1,000 miles of off-grid, off-road fun from Berlin to Pittsburgh, with stops in Dixville Notch, Colebrook and more towns along the way. Explore the North Country on UTVs, ATVs and at trailside lodging and dining spots.

Find off-road trails in Maryland’s state forests. In Pennsylvania, explore the Anthracite Outdoor Adventure Area network, with 8500 acres and 200 miles of off-road trails for various types of vehicles. Find more trails in the Mid-Atlantic region here.
Why not explore the Great Smoky Mountains area for a classic American vacation that lets you ride off-road trails one day and explore a picturesque national park the next? Or, if you’re interested in rough riding and historic trails, check out the Trails Heaven Hatfield & McCoy off-road trails system in West Virginia.
