Start with an enclosed aluminum trailer like one of these:

For tow vehicles of any size, from compact SUVs to full-size pickups, ALCOM builds enclosed aluminum trailers of any size, too! Once you've determined the size and type of trailer you need, start checking out the floor and wall upgrades and planning your perfect aluminum trailer in the size you need.

Floor Options & Upgrades

Standard construction for your enclosed ALCOM aluminum trailer includes a welded aluminum frame, including wall and floor studs. The specifics will vary by trailer model and size, with common construction types including the integrated aluminum frame, 24" OC floor crossmembers and 16" wall and roof studs.

Upgrade to 16" OC floor crossmembers from 24" or to 12" floor studs from 16". Add 2"x2" ceiling studs and a walk-on roof - yeah, we know, that's the opposite of the floor - but if you're planning to walk on the roof, add this feature to turn it into a functional floor as well!

Standard decking for enclosed aluminum trailers is generally one of our water-resistant offerings, including 3/4" and 5/8" decking. Let's look beyond the basics and check out the enclosed aluminum trailer flooring options and upgrades menu. Upgrade from standard 5/8" water resistant decking to a heavier-duty 3/4" deck. If you're looking to really reinforce the floor, add an extra layer of 3/4" of water resistant decking to the existing layer.

Still need more? We're just getting started. Add some insulation with our 3/4" foam insulated floor upgrade, then keep building your optimal aluminum trailer deck. Upgrade from 3/4" water resistant decking to 3/4" pressure treated plywood, quad-ply decking, or extruded aluminum floor.

You could also opt for a black marble or black and white checkerboard vinyl floor covering, both available per linear foot, or a painted epoxy finish. Black rubber coin and black TPO coin flooring are available as well, and did we mention you can even add charcoal gray carpet inside your trailer? Yeah, that's a thing. Complete the package with a water resistant 12" kick plate or a diamond plate kick plate (available in 12" or 21"). Talk with your dealer to determine which options are best for your trailer and your budget!

Wall Options & Upgrades

Now let's look at the walls. Your trailer will start out with standard wall studs and side panels, but to reinforce the trailer and build the customized enclosed aluminum hauler of your dreams, start building from there.

Check out our new and improved integrated wall stud package. With this package, you can build the custom, modular trailer interior you need and change it easily using slide-track technology. Rows of slide integrated into the wall studs allow you to attach anchors anywhere you need them.

Individual wall upgrades are available even if you don't need the wall stud package. Upgrade wall studs to .080" or 2"x2". Stick with 3/8" water resistant walls or upgrade to 3/8" plywood, white vinyl-faced Luan walls, 3/8" plywood with white vinyl, or 1/2" plywood walls. For even more durability and easy cleaning, add black TPO coin wall coverings that extend 3' up the wall, or opt for carpet on the walls instead. It's up to you -- talk with your ALCOM dealer to choose the ideal options for your hauling needs!

Once you've determined your wall studs and coverings, don't skip wall-mounted accessories like hooks, tracks, racks, and cabinets. Find out if these options are right for you when you chat with an ALCOM dealer.
